The past three decades have witnessed transformative advancements in nano-micro thermal radiation, marked by paradigm-shifting developments in both fundamental basis and advanced experimental techniques in micro/nanoscale. These breakthroughs have revealed extraordinary applications spanning radiative cooling technology, far-/near-field thermophotovoltaics, ultrafast thermal dissipation solutions for high-density nanoelectronics, etc.

The 6^th International Conference on Nano-Micro Thermal Radiation (NanoRad 2027) will be held on August 6-9, 2027 in Shanghai, China. It is a follow-up conference to the first four successful conferences, which were held in Matsushima, Japan (2012), Shanghai, China (2014), Daejeon, South Korea (2017) and Hokkaido, Japan (2024). The fourth International Conference on Nano-Micro Thermal Radiation (NanoRad 2020) was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19.

The main objective of this conference is to bring together scientists from all over the world for communications of the most recent advances, research ideas and future outlooks in Nano Microscale Thermal Radiation. NanoRad 2027 will provide a forum to facilitate international collaborations and promote joint efforts in this multidisciplinary area.
